ຊຸດ ຝຶກອົບຮົມການຖ່າຍທອດ ເຕັກນິກກະສິກໍາ ໂດຍການສະໜັບສະໜູນ ຈາກສູນບໍລິການດ້ານການກະເສດຫ້ວຍຊອນຫ້ວຍຊົ້ວ. ໄດ້ຈັດຂື້ນ ໃນລະຫວ່າງວັນທີ່ 5 ຫາວັນທີ່ 6 ສິງຫານີ້, ຢູ່ສູນຄົ້ນຄ້ວາກະສິກຳ ແລະ ປ່າໄມ້ ພາກເໜືອ, ທີ່ຕັ້ງຢູ່ບ້ານຫ້ວຍໂຄດ ເມືອງຊຽງເງີນ ແຂວງຫຼວງພະບາງ. ມີນັກສຳມະນາກອນ ຈາກ 8 ເມືອງເປົ້າໝາຍຂອງໂຄງການຄົ້ນຄ້ວາເຂດພູດອຍ ແລະ ພັດທະນາຄວາມສາມາດ (URDP) ໃນ 4 ແຂວງພາກເໜືອຄື: ແຂວງຫຼວງພະບາງ, ອຸດົມໄຊ, ຫຼວງນ້ຳທາ, ແຂວງບໍ່ແກ້ວ ແລະ ຈາກ 10 ຕົວເມືອງຂອງແຂວງຫຼວງພະບາງ. ມີນັກສຳມະນາກອນເຂົ້າຝຶກອົບຮົມ 40 ຄົນ, ຍິງ 10 ຄົນ.

TABI is a long term commitment by the Lao Government and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) which seeks to conserve, enhance and manage the biological diversity found in farming lanscapes in oreder to improve the livelihoods of upland farm families in northern Laos. During its first phase (2009-2012) TABI is geographically focusing on Luang Prebang and Xieng Khouang Provinces in the north of Laos.
TABI aims to improve the livelihoods of upland farm families by the productive use and conservation of agrobiodiversity resources. Its goal of protecting biodiversity values as a key to poverty alleviation is based on the recognition that the enhancement of agrobiodiversity, economic development and poverty eradication are mutually supportive objectives that can be achieved by the sound management and productive use of agro-biodiversity resources.

Eight countries (Vietnam, Yunnan Province of PR China, Cambodia, Thailand,Cameroon, Madagascar, France and Lao PDR) were involved in the regional workshop on Conservation Agriculture that was held in Phonsavan from 28th of October to 1st of November 2008.
During the same time an agriculture fair and national exchanges days, involving representatives of farmer groups, educational sector, private entrepreneurs and DAFOs, were also organized. Presentations, article abstracts and results of the different working groups are available now.

Over the last 8 months NAFRI has been working with a range of partners to improve farmers’ and extension agents access to information. This is most notably carried out through the NAFRI-NAFES Working Group on Agriculture Information Management. The working group and its activities has been approved by the Director General’s of both NAFRI and NAFES and support for activities is carried out through SDC and Sida.

The Lao Agricultural Research Fund (LARF) aims to provide Lao scientists with an opportunity to compete for agricultural research funds.The LARF is open to government agencies, universities, agricultural colleges and NGO organisations based in the Lao PDR, which have a mandate to undertake agricultural research. Proposals must contain a defined research project, and can be of one or two years in duration. The annual funding limit for individual projects is US$6,000 and a maximum of US$10,000 for two year projects. The grant moneys are for expenditure only within the Lao PDR. More Info>>
