Welcome to the updated NAFRI website!
The website has been redesigned to take into account new changes going on at NAFRI as well improved services to users of the website.The redesign reflects a commitment to getting out more information in Lao Language as well as to provide opportunities for NAFRI centres and staff to contribute information and knowledge to the nafri website.
Some of the new features currently include:
- Centralized access to documents and downloads
- A new section devoted to updating users about on-going NAFRI research
- Sections on news and events taking place at NAFRI
- Improve Lao Language functionality
- Focus on providing information on key crops and issues related to agriculture and forestry development in Lao PDR

The Lao Agricultural Research Fund (LARF) aims to provide Lao scientists with an opportunity to compete for agricultural research funds.The LARF is open to government agencies, universities, agricultural colleges and NGO organisations based in the Lao PDR, which have a mandate to undertake agricultural research. Proposals must contain a defined research project, and can be of one or two years in duration. The annual funding limit for individual projects is US$6,000 and a maximum of US$10,000 for two year projects. The grant moneys are for expenditure only within the Lao PDR. More Info>>
