UNDP and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry (MAF), executed through the National Agriculture and Forestry Research Institute (NAFRI) have completed the formulation of the project “Improving the Resilience of the Agriculture Sector in Lao PDR to Climate Change Impacts” as part of the NAPA follow-up.
The following long-term positions are immediately available in the project:
1 National Consultants for Project Baseline
1 Technical Coordinator Component
1 Interpreter / Translator (INTR)
1 Technical Coordinator Components 2 or 3(TC2/TC3)
1 Media and Publication Officer (MPO)

The Lao Agricultural Research Fund (LARF) aims to provide Lao scientists with an opportunity to compete for agricultural research funds.The LARF is open to government agencies, universities, agricultural colleges and NGO organisations based in the Lao PDR, which have a mandate to undertake agricultural research. Proposals must contain a defined research project, and can be of one or two years in duration. The annual funding limit for individual projects is US$6,000 and a maximum of US$10,000 for two year projects. The grant moneys are for expenditure only within the Lao PDR. More Info>>
